Day 1

Arrival Day: Salvador

Arrival at Salvador´s airport, you will be taken to your selected hotel.

Day 2

Salvador: City Tour

Full day city tour Salvador with lunch

Starting at the Farol da Barra, the excursion then heads to the port of Barra, where you can see the forts of Santa Maria and São Diogo. From here, the tour moves on to Salvador’s more traditional neighborhoods, namely Corredor da Vitória, Campo Grande, and Piedade. By far the most significant district visit is Pelourinho, the historic center of Salvador which is now a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site, with a dazzling array of seventeenth and eighteenth-century architecture. Lunch is taken at one of the various restaurants in Pelourinho. In the afternoon the excursion continues to various spots for panoramic views of the city, plus the famous Bonfim Church. The day ends with a visit to the Mercado Modelo.

Day 3

Salvador: Full day Schooner

This fantastic tour takes you out into the Baía de Todos Los Santos (Bay of All Saints), to two of the many islands with lush tropical vegetation and pristine beaches. The first stop is Frades Island, which has a history of slavery: here slaves from Africa were quarantined and prepared for sale on the mainland. Once the schooner drops anchor, you can relax and swim in the warm, clear water at one of the island’s most beautiful beaches. Next, the tour continues to Itaparica, the largest island in the bay and an important historical site. You will get acquainted with Itaparica Island (Ponta de Areia), and you will be able to savor the delicacies of Bahian cuisine. There’s enough time in the remainder of the afternoon to enjoy this beautiful tropical location. As the sun sets, you reboard the schooner for the trip back to Salvador. Schooner capacity: 60-80 pax.

Salvador: City Tour

Excursion todo el día en el  Salvador con almuerzo

Comenzando en el Farol da Barra, la excursión se dirige al puerto de Barra, donde se pueden ver los fuertes de Santa María y Santo Diego. A partir de aquí, el recorrido se traslada a los barrios más tradicionales de Salvador, a saber, Corredor de Victoria, Campo Grande y Piedad. Con mucho, la visita más importante del distrito es Pelourinho, el centro histórico de Salvador, que ahora es Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, con una deslumbrante variedad de arquitectura de los siglos XVII y XVIII. El almuerzo se toma en uno de los varios restaurantes en Pelourinho. Por la tarde, la excursión continúa a varios lugares para obtener vistas panorámicas de la ciudad, además de la famosa Iglesia Bonfim. El día termina con una visita al Mercado Modelo.

Día 3
Salvador: Día completo en goleta 

Este fantástico recorrido lo lleva a la Bahía de Todos Los Santos (Bahía de Todos los Santos), a dos de las muchas islas con exuberante vegetación tropical y playas vírgenes. La primera parada es la Isla Frades, que tiene una historia de esclavitud: aquí los esclavos de África fueron puestos en cuarentena y preparados para la venta en el continente. Una vez que la goleta eche el ancla, podrá relajarse y nadar en el agua cálida y clara en una de las playas más hermosas de la isla. Luego, el recorrido continúa hacia Itaparica, la isla más grande de la bahía y un importante sitio histórico. Conocerá la isla de Itaparica (Ponta de Areia) y podrá saborear los manjares de la cocina bahiana. Hay suficiente tiempo en el resto de la tarde para disfrutar de esta hermosa ubicación tropical. A medida que se pone el sol, vuelve a subir a la goleta para el viaje de regreso a Salvador. Capacidad de goleta: 60-80 pax.
